I'm going against orders, but I don't think it will kill me. I'm pretty sure the chest sensation has more to do with push-ups than than the Adderall, and I waiting till Monday just isn't something I want to do. I have enough uncertainty as it is.
This morning has already been difficult. It's 11:00 and I'll need at least an hour before I can even start work. I'm actually looking forward to it and trying to plan strategically. It reminds me of playing chess; (which I've never been particularly good at) the secret is to be thinking 3 or 4 steps ahead at all times.
Goals for today:
Find my phone.
Write the reflection logs from my teaching experience.
Outline my 10 day Unit Plan.
Design the class reading assessment.
Finish my Student Notebook for Content Reading Areas.
That's a lot. Probably shouldn't try any more than that.

Okey doke, I can finally comment as Comcast, in their glorious and idiotic wisdom, fixed my connection. It is probably better to make your to-do list a bit bigger than smaller. More things to cross off at least, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteWhen they say chest pain they don't mean a little tightness. When you ahve medication related symptoms you'll KNOW you're having medication related sypmtoms. If your'e unsure, I'd blame the physical excercise as well. I've always wondered if my ADD and Depression interacted in weird ways and made it hard ot treat. The only really effective thing I've found was the Celexa I think which I took for a while while I was living with you. I haven't really needed it since I've moved ot Iowa, but its effects were marked and positive. But it was neither the first drug, nor the first dosage of that drug that I tried, so don't expect a quick and simple process to lock down your med needs.
ReplyDeleteI had Celexa too! Stuff definitely works. Also, I agree with Dave about making your lists for a day longer. I know that if I only have like three things to do over the course of a whole day, I definitely take my time doing them, and while you shouldn't always feel rushed all day either, I just hope you don't start to feel lazy because you've only got like those 4-5 things to take care of for your WHOLE day.
